Executive Committee

Our executive committee is up for election. Join us at our next general meeting to elect your new team. The current members running for the committee are:

Andrew Selbie - President

Andrew Selbie moved here in 1997 and has been on the Executive Committee of the RPOA since then. He works as the Chief Operating Officer of Research Capital Corporation, an independent Canadian investment dealer. He and his wife are ardent world travelers having visited many countries around the globe

Christyne Gauthier - Vice President

Christyne Gauthier is a retired commercial lawyer and has experience sitting on Boards of Directors with both condo corporations and theatres. A relatively recent addition to the West Rouge community, she is a keen personal watersports enthusiast including paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing.

Douglas Shimada - Vice President

Douglas Shimada moved to the area upon his retirement in 2019 but has strong connections to this neighbourhood dating back to 1960. His career encompassed Human Resources and professional development in the Telecommunications, Computer Services, and Education fields. He particularly enjoys walking the many trails available locally.

Bryan Stewart - Vice President

Bryan Stewart and his family have been ravine property owners and dwellers since 2000. Occupationally, he is presently responsible for Canadian client acquisition and retention for Aramark, a multinational hospitality services company. Aside from nearly a decade of coaching kids hockey and soccer in the community, past volunteer activities include: President and Chair of the Board of Directors of Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities; member of Central East Local Health Integration Network Governance Advisory Council; and Board Director for the Canadian Foundation for Dietetic Research.
